It became apparent overnight how the liberals in this country take any disappointment. Demonstrations and downright lawlessness started up in multiple cities. For some bizarre reason they think we can roll back an election and bring Hillary back from the dead. I've never understood liberal thinking that allows this kind of downright criminal activity.
After a contentious and prolonged presidential campaign, Donald Trump was, last night, elected president. It seemed, from the beginning, that he would never make it to the end. An egotistical and downright rude demeanor seemed as though anyone with a brain would see that he'd never make a decent president. Guess that was off base since he overcame all the slings and arrows from Hillary and the media to become the most powerful person in the world. How we go forward from this point is pretty much anybody's guess. Considering that the liberal establishment's hair is on fire it will be interesting how they take it.
Found a couple of weeks ago that we once again have termites in the dining room front wall. Started working on it last week. Got the dry wall torn out from the chair rail down to the floor then today I cut new drywall and insulation. Also squirted some termite killer in the wall but not sure that make much difference. I will nail on the drywall tomorrow and start floating the joints. I hope to have the whole thing done by week's end...including new paint on all the walls. But sometimes things don't go as you want so it's just a goal. Rebecca and family will be here on June 18 so gotta have it done by then for sure.
I sometimes wonder what drives me to keep messing with antennas. Hung the multi-band inverted vee this morning but not sure it's any better than the G5RV. Band condx seem pretty crappy so maybe that's the problem.

I thought I would cancel my subscription to Typepad but now I'm not sure. I did cancel my subscription to Sirius XM so now no Bluegrass to listen to on the radio. Since we are the cost saving mode nowadays, that's a small price to pay. I'll wait a while before canceling Typepad.
I finally gave up on the ground plane. I'll build a wire antenna for 30, 20, and 17 meters. I don't think 40 will work that well at 30 feet so I'll leave it off. Just have to rely on the 14AVQ for 40 and 15. Although might add 15. Not sure.
